There’s a woman in my yard,
settled like she belongs there,
refusing to leave.
She doesn’t call out
watches me
like unfinished things
as the distance thins.
Her shadow shortens
until it reaches my door.
"A knock"
and when I open it,
her shadow
is already mine.

Inspired by the horror movie A woman in the yard. Lol I didn't understood the movie like was it horror or psychological Idk, but I used "The Psychological" reference of the movie to write this poem.
