Imagine a world of honesty,
No one ever lied on any day,
Politicians, would not say transparency,
They would just follow through, with all,
The promises, they made, before election day.
Never doubting any words you would hear,
Knowing the truth was in the statements,
Others would talk about and say.
Many people would have a lot freer time,
Have you ever heard someone complain,
About a liar, wasting hours of a day.
Many may fabricate, equivocate, and prevaricate,
The words in their stories, they say,
Others might just say it was just a fib,
Or to try to be polite, euphemism,
So many excuses to lie,
Be honest to others and yourself, every day.
Only one chance in this life, how do you,
Want to be remembered, after this short stay.
