What a sight – this sparrow –
Perennial heir of Song –
In the holding nest
Beneath feathered breast
She cradles you – she nurtures me –
Her aquiline murmurs
Sweetly lull and hum
Though the billows and whispers
Of this endless, entropic Blue –
Amidst swirling tides
Of shadow and light
She keeps us warm
Within the shell –
Losslessness
In bulb form.
