Moonstones - cool to touch,
Unveiled by only the grace
Of the fine new moon...
Moonstones - glimmer fine
As an iridescent white
To veil the black blots...
Moonstones - smooth, gleaming -
I love to keep them than the
Caging wedding ring...
Moonstones - sea-polished -
I wish I were a moonstone -
Adored, but left free...

I was reading a novel "Sandcastles" and found the moonstones mentioned in it very beautiful and fascinating...
I wrote this poem as I was sitting at the receptionist's desk at my cousin's clinic, where i go to work part time.
Wonder if you find this good enough...
