against the wind
sediment
sprout
a meadow of green bile
with blades of hatred
and lethal nectar
Aimless in flight
vultures
refuse to scavenge on lifeless prey
wanton mind
like a dervish whirl

hood raised,
desert
with its venomous fangs wait
