I wrapped my legs around your waste. I whispered in your ear “Stay” And in that moment I wanted you to kiss me , Wrap your fingers around my curls Enclose Them around my neck. Hard Just hard enough for you to feel my pulse The quiet beating and pulsating I won't always be this open...this vulnerable My trust is in the palm of your hands In the space between our lips This is the moment where you should pull me closer And place your thumb gently on my bottom lip and breathe. I whisper “stay,” over and over again You told me you would, you told me ,'I love you” And after that moment, I couldn't stop myself.
