Oh what I'd give for an hour to stand and watch the waves rush in and fling themselves on the shore, as I did when a young man who was born close to the sea!  A time for cleansing the turmoil from the inner man, and with a friend - still in contact more than sixty years later - we would spend hours on Chesil Beach - Portland, Dorset UK - watching waves thundering ashore in its frenzied anger when a southwesterly storm approached.  I was a mere 'sprog' naval rating at the time, but it was a favourite pastime of ours.  Nearest sea shore now?  Five hundred miles to our east. Ciao Denis
