screams and laughs and drinks and tight clothes social cues and groups of dudes pausing pausing I watch from inside the crowd drinks and laughs and cries and sleep social confusion and groups of some---bodies pausing shame I walk home from where I've been drinks and drinks and cries and sleep and sleep stern eyes and a dry throat pausing pondering already here, like I have been drinks and light and thoughts Wednesday isn't so bad for stumbling pondering and pausing not there, like I had been I can hear the social cues from my window I can see the tight clothes and dudes from my porch I don't feel confusion only pity for those watching out from inside the crowd.
