My heart is full of colour, Though I’m not allowed to love her. Concealing my prism of pride, And covering all my lies. Still incapable of loving a man, Though I try as hard as I can. The shame of being gay, Too hard to take.

Hidden pride

A short one about the challenge of homophobia and the humiliation that goes along side it.
