Everyone's afraid of the dark Nobody feels right when there's no light Down down into the depths Where it hangs thick and heavy like mud Choking and blinding drowning in blood Down down into the depths Where there's gnashing of teeth Reaping the crowds the children cry out Down down into the depths Is there any help once you're there Or is your judgement right and square? Down down into the depths Nobody is coming to save you Not even Jesus knows you now Down down into the depths Darkness, blindness, blackness, sink Blotted out with eternal ink Down down down down
