This short text sets out to be an invocation &#8212; a hymn to poetry&#8217;s unseen presence. It announces itself with the reverence of liturgy: within the binding, within the cover, as if opening a sacred object. Its intent is clear: to reveal that poetry is not merely printed words but something infused into silence, memory, and the very materials of a book.

But here is where the work collapses under its own design. In trying to universalize the human experience, it strips away the human entirely. The intent to distill becomes an act of erasure; the desire for essence produces only generic placeholders. Silence and memory are meant to be anchors, but they float unmoored &#8212; abstractions without body, without pulse.

The artistic intent, if we read it generously, was to create a minimalist koan, a compressed seed from which thought might bloom. Instead, the compression deletes the files it promises to contain. The poem becomes an empty folder with a solemn label. It is not mystery, but vacancy disguised as depth.
