I begged the spirits to send me a sign. (I never could decide much on my own.) I longed to be free of chutes and ladders. ( I am a delinquent.) To love someone is the point of no return. (Unrequited is the word I think.) And I knew when they spelled out your name in spaghettios that- ( Life had done me in good.)
