I just posted my heart to you
in the letterbox of love
I'd send you my all
but I could not get inside
The park was greener then green
clouds with golden seams
was this all a dream
a letterbox of love
It stood there on the street corner
throbbing pink and pulsing
leaping as if it was my heart
that crazy letterbox of love
It took me nearly an hour
to post my heart to thee
I wish I'd had the instinctive insight
and tied that letterbox to a tree
