I'm only one person. Only one voice, one mind, one set of ribs that cages my one heart. I break as one. Not two, not three. I have one pair of legs, that move one step at a time to the many places this one man desires to travel. There is one attempt at this one life many years, one man. Only one, not two, or three. Many choices, many consequences this one man can fall into. One chance to tell my one friend how many hurts hit my one heart. One thousand enemies bear down but I put my trust in the One God. His one death is my chance. Not one, or two, but one million chances. Wipe my one thousand tears one more time
