2026 they gleam
But 2026 means no more sadness
No more comfort in the dark
It means ‘be yourself’
A bad new years resolution she made
She trusted herself to follow it
She shouldn't trust anymore
Hasn't she learnt
If she doesn't bleed
How could she ink her hurt on a page
How can she write without her muse

The year of happiness
The year she said it would end
Yet if she stops her depression
She stops her art
Does she even want to write love
Or does she still wish to write pain

my new years resolution was to change my mindset to try and help my depression which spanned across all of last year from janurary to december and still now, however in order to do that it means i must stop listening to sad songs and stop writing sad poetry, however in order to do that i must write fun poetry, which i have never done before, and probably dont know how to, so im not sure if i should stay writing depressive stuff to work through my pain or stop and try writing love poems (howveer my relationship with my gf is currently crumbling so idk ) help guys xxx PLEASE COMMENT WHAT ONE I SHOULD DO!!!
