We petition the tongue, asking for guidance We stage against the obscene cost of violence And in doings so hear of our hours shortened What must we beg to filter peace Collecting its children before the wild roar We draft in considerate tone simple words turning better cheek forwards Yielding promise finds no opposition only complexity Who in his right mind requires the infinite remorse of language unending And while boys and girls practice rhymes who ends the songs

A Collection of Rhyme
We petition the tongue, asking for guidance We stage against the obscene cost of violence And in doings so hear of our hours shortened What must we beg to filter peace Collecting its children before the wild roar We draft in considerate tone simple words turning better cheek forwards Yielding promise finds no opposition only complexity Who in his right mind requires the infinite remorse of language unending And while boys and girls practice rhymes who ends the songs
