We went from Hi's and Hey's to talking bout school, you know, talking bout you and how your family doing .
I thought I knew you but it gon take more than questions bout how you doing and relationship problems you know.
Didn't take long to figure that this bond wasn't deep, just a surface thing, kinda like whatchu call shallow. Soon enough I forgot your favorite colour, favourite food, pretty much everything you said you like, deep down I wished we were more. I know we couldn't rush things cos these things take time but we fell out before we even got the chance .
I wish I'd just wave my hand and it'll be alright but the beauty of reality is what makes the difference.
