For it is You That I Love

Silence

Deafening silence

Until I see your face

And feel your touch

I can finally breathe again

Such words I do not own

To break the sound

Pulling me to your chest

At last you are near

And the world doesn’t seem so harsh

Then the clouds disappear

I fall back into myself

Living becomes easy

And I finally understand

For it is you that I love
