My, what a gloomy night The clouds came with a furious shower. In the cold grass I lay feeling the sadness of the hour. I hated staying awake every midnight, for I remembered every heartache as I looked up in the moonlight. I watched the stars as they twinkled in the starry night Like the stars, you felt so far You're gone, way out of sight. No matter what I do, nothing can bring you back. The clouds have calmed themselves, but my eyes continued its painful shower.
