I thought you were everything
a man of greatness
is what I thought you were
but then as time passed by
flaws and conflicts emerged
the sweetness and adoration you gave
turned to pain and hate
the lies you spout
the promises you broke
the pain you gave
it haunts me til this day
the man I once looked up
is now below me
unmoving, cold and gone
gone to a somewhere
far away from here
leaving all the pain behind
no apology, no closure
just bitterness, smoke and ashes
