Heavy Is the Crown

Tick tock,

The flood’s

Begun

And I’m

So sick

And tired

Of you

Trying to

Get me

Undone.

Aim so high,

Strike so

Low

Keep pushing

I won’t give in

And fall in the

Undertow.

You circle,

You wait,

You bet on the break

But pressure

Doesn’t mean surrender

The rain’s

Pouring in,

But the fire

Inside me

Won’t be put

Out

So put your

Money where

Your mouth is

Because I won’t

Be put down,

Heavy is the

Crown.

Not everyone breaks.

Heavy is the crown.
