It's happening again You've somehow traveled back into my mind As I lay here sleepless Staring at my vacant ceiling Oblivious to everything but my thoughts How you used to join me at this time And hold me in the dark After I would vigorously tickle you and tell you corny jokes When you told it was hard to make you laugh I'd explain how awful my day has been without you And that you're the reason I know how to love But that doesn't happen these nights anymore And all that lingers here is faded memories To keep me up through my endless night z.s

Endless Night
