Prayers Unanswered
Prayers that go unanswered are heart
breaking it's true,
understanding comes in time
God has a plan for you.
Remember your first love
you prayed would never end,
look at what you have
today, far greater than back then.
Prayers may go unanswered
because what your asking for,
couldn't hold a candle to what
God has in store.
Every day we climb the staircase
one step closer to eternity,
prayers unanswered will be understood
yesterday's sorrows are windows
to perfection I believe.
