twirling her brush
across darkening skies
spreading her wings
in a daily surprise
of beauty in the eyes
of the world
a rustling of leaves
a swirl of her sleeves
a breeze in the wind
a gentle reprieve
in the pinks and blues
of her brush
a gentle blush
she paints
across our whispering skies
