Forgotten, so it seems, a love left unfinished A heart now abandoned, a passion diminished An ache and a pain, unrelenting sorrow A hope now released, a prayer for the morrow As darkness descends, a hand reaches out A hand at the ready, apprised of this route The touch so familiar, as if acquainted Has it no face?, your sight remain tainted A smile now you see, this touch you now know Yet it seem from above, it give strength from below As closer be drawn, to this one nameless face Your heart does now know, this be true love's embrace
