'Your feelings don't matter',
Something I've been told for years,
It's something I can't control and I hate it,
Born to lean on others,
To show what I feel easily to others,
Forced to help others and not myself,
To hide what I feel to make others feel better,
People think it's lovely that I do this for others,
Kindness, soft, sweet, calm,
That I do therapy for others for fun,
Though to me,
I feel forced,
I wasn't meant to be, It was forced to me,
I like helping others, getting to know them, helping them with things they can't do themselves,
It's hard when you're also going through something,
I'm not human to them,
I'm a toy that seems fine but is rotting on the inside,
From pain, overuse.
I'm not cared for till i'm useful,
'Someone's sad',
'Someone's mad',
'Someone's hurt',
But it's never EVER me,
But i'm hurt too,
'I'm sorry, but someone over there is hurt.'
I'm not loved,
I'm not cared for,
I'm a toy that was chewed too hard,
And that's all i'll ever be.
