I wish for your fingertips grazing my flesh. In that flash eye contact, Long enough to reveal the truth, I saw a possibility; One lifetime of many, In mere seconds. What if I had stopped? What if you had not let me leave? Questions left unanswered, Unfulfilled opportunities, A dream of what could have been, Merely a dream.

Dreaming reality
I wish for your fingertips grazing my flesh. In that flash eye contact, Long enough to reveal the truth, I saw a possibility; One lifetime of many, In mere seconds. What if I had stopped? What if you had not let me leave? Questions left unanswered, Unfulfilled opportunities, A dream of what could have been, Merely a dream.
