We crumble at the face of our ego, afraid to let the glass shatter so we can renew into a life with greater purpose, into something that matters beyond a sense of pride and hiding behind a veil Of self-told lies If everyone on the planet could have one single wish granted, how many would ask for a life supplanted in humility, forgoing desire? It’s a shame that the answer is not enough in this world of snake-oil salesmen, and hapless buyers There is power in letting go but as simple as it sounds it is not easy to ignore sound and breakaway into the silent aftermath of choosing not to know, and instead basking in the dark everglow
