There is so much hate,
so much indifference,
so many hurting,
so many in need
so many lonely,
so many in pain
We are all people
just trying to survive,
make our way through
this hectic life
We can all make this a better place
if we try,
it is so easy to be kind,
to be thoughtful
and if only for a few moments,
to bring some happiness
to someone’s life
