What do you see in my defensive eyes? Am I still the light that shines on when you run away? I stay. Your eyes fade into mine— don’t look away. Listen to me. Shut me up and listen. I wanna stay here, beg me, want me close, tongue touching wet lips, wanting more, looking at you. Give me a chance while the moon looks upon you. The ocean says my name. Do you remember? A smile filled with pieces of stone, forming a tornado. Look at me. Don’t look away.
