Goodbye sunrise, hello Dark eyes, Peering from your perch, as they linger as if they'll lurch At any sudden movements, causing slight distress, Your Dark eyes, revealing, seem to undress The sensation of the atmosphere surrounding our small space Of the car we are sitting in, Turned towards each other; face to face. Your thoughts shout one thing Your emotions another Our love lingers above our heads But our hearts hover At the thought of the jump The falling, the drown, Of something so meant to be It has been buried in the background.
