more sugar than i realize, my heart is mellified. you know this; you have tasted it. when skin split at sternum i stifled a cry, cold fingers danced across ribs and slipped inside. a flaying should be cause for anger. flesh pulled back, supple bleed but all i wanted was to be seen. to be felt and taken from. to be worth taking. to be called honey, to be sweet.
