We strolled along the sidewalk, only one thing on my mind, I wondered if she knew my wish, whether she’d respond in kind. We loitered on in silence, as the butterflies made a home, overwhelmed by heart’s yearning, I could not limit passion to roam. So I turned to her beautiful face, and basked in her glistening eyes; I knew this was the moment, that I’d surmount the Everest high. “What’s the matter,” she asked, as my cheeks blushed bright red pale. “Nothing important,” I replied, and continued walking along, in my secret fairy tale.

Wish Upon A Moment
