I think of a life once lived Fondly But disdain still burns - though- Softly I see the embers of what was Aglow in the shadow of the present While The future hides among the dancing flames "What shall become of me now?" Wait and see Wait and see Who are you but the one who just was? Without inklings of doubt drizzled Gently on the confidence of ones ego You can't rage as hard against the light But try and try and try Until one day, you might GIVE UP

A Life Once Lived
I think of a life once lived Fondly But disdain still burns - though- Softly I see the embers of what was Aglow in the shadow of the present While The future hides among the dancing flames "What shall become of me now?" Wait and see Wait and see Who are you but the one who just was? Without inklings of doubt drizzled Gently on the confidence of ones ego You can't rage as hard against the light But try and try and try Until one day, you might GIVE UP
