An Envelope of Fulfillment I have let you grow your independence, Like a wave that leaves her mother sea, To face the lividness of craggy rocks, And soften happily as you heal. As I grow weaker, I have to let go, Where only room for labored breath, Bends and seeks your tender youth, Proud to see you brave all fret. Death bestows its relief on me, A will to promote the love in you, What I have yearned you bequeath in me, In repose I smile, as you hug me like few. By Rekha Ramani (July 2016) -copyright 2016-
