Last night felt like it took an eternity..
It was like every place I looked only you I could see.
Still through all our darkness it's only ever light that beams.
This Life is just too short for painful memories..
Tomorrow I might feel like leaving,
But today you were gone anyways,
Yesterday seemed like it was miles away,
And I'm pretty sure you haven't looked me in the eyes since the other day.
You see I'm just sick of thinking like it did me any good.
Like somehow it changed the way I felt or erased the things you couldn't.
Darling if life is like a story then you're more like a chapter,
You're full of passion and fire but yet always still a beautiful disaster...
