He became my what if 's , When I wanted him to be my sacred kiss . He's like the perfect sketch I'm scared to touch, When I'm the rough draft everyone overlooks. He's the middle page I scribbled my thoughts in, But I became the blank page where the story stops. Now I linger in the dreams we spun, Which we never had the courage to own .

What we almost were
He became my what if 's , When I wanted him to be my sacred kiss . He's like the perfect sketch I'm scared to touch, When I'm the rough draft everyone overlooks. He's the middle page I scribbled my thoughts in, But I became the blank page where the story stops. Now I linger in the dreams we spun, Which we never had the courage to own .
This is the first thing I've ever written. I got this newfound interest in writing, so I just picked up my journal and wrote this. Do let me know how is it
