The dawning of a new day. A new mask is chosen, selected for this day. I place it upon my face. This mask works a charm. I mask myself from the world that envelopes me, surrounds me, suffocates me. I hide beneath this facade of smiles and bright eyes. Yet underneath the surface, underneath this perfectly positioned mask, I am dying inside.
