His timorous eyes encircled me, questioning of the darkness, resembling the coldness of his grip that encircled my arm. Though his  gnarled lips uttered no sounds his pleas were lucent.  for the same chords resounded within me. We stood enmeshed in our muted harmony- daring to fell the suppressed. Then, ransoming my sanity for two pieces of silver-- I bade this specter        away!
