History is such an integral subject
One if learnt from can change lives
It makes people realise; violence isn't the answer
It makes people think; of alternate solutions
Coming to the conclusion that
Peace, integrity and unity
Is the only way us humans can thrive.
We must learn from the past
After all mistakes are made to be a lesson
If this is done so
Many lives and livelihoods can be saved
Alas however the irony of our past is
We must watch, agonisingly , as history
Continues to repeat itself.
