a window is still a window, even with shattered glass it will still let the sun through itself still let you gaze out and see the world so I fell in love with you, broken boy and with observation and time I attained your gospel truth you were not a window, but instead a mirror I looked at you and saw the truth of what I had become a shattered reflection of somebody I didn't recognize but I still fell in love with you, broken boy I just didn't realize you would break me too

a broken boy
a window is still a window, even with shattered glass it will still let the sun through itself still let you gaze out and see the world so I fell in love with you, broken boy and with observation and time I attained your gospel truth you were not a window, but instead a mirror I looked at you and saw the truth of what I had become a shattered reflection of somebody I didn't recognize but I still fell in love with you, broken boy I just didn't realize you would break me too
