Cupboard doors open and slam in a rush of morning departures. Tins of beans and packets of pasta checked for use by dates end up piled up on the table. Toothpaste faces run in clutching new soap and that unopened toiletry to add their finds. Pat on heads. Loading and quick check on calendar.
