She wears this veil so well He won’t notice it’s there Like a second skin, it has become attached to her Hell, he hasn’t bothered peeling it off Not even the edges So, the flaws are still there, hiding under there And like the others, he won’t get to know her With a sigh of despair, she puts another layer Praying for the day that she’ll be unveiled
