Charade to protect the soul a practiced stillness worn like a well-fitted coat through seasons that asked too much Beneath the quiet ground of heart something refused extinction a pulse under pressure listening for light Natural beauty of heart gently springs with green sprouts not loud not urgent but certain Hidden under soil protecting the tender seed the dark was never punishment it was preparation a sacred concealment Earth opens and beauty rises not all at once but enough to change the weather inside fingertips brush the surface feel the shift the soft insistence of becoming No longer tucked inside a container of safety no longer folded into corners of doubt you breathe wider now roots remembering sky and in this quiet unfurling you do not ask permission you simply rise
