The hard seasons,
the events and moments
you are still not sure
you'll make it through,
the stuff nobody even knows about.
And yet here you are.
Still full of love. Still trying to do your best.
And what is the best?
People around you!

Most people go through half of
what I have been through.
And become so harsh
on themselves and others.
Just because they don’t have you.
You didn't let me do that.
That says everything about who you are,
And who am I.
So I promise you and myself to
be proud of how far we have come.
