I lay in the darkest of fields, staring into the nights stars Thinking of you. Of my trust that I put in you. You say that you will never hurt me, Nor break your promises like those before. How do I know that when I feel like I hardly know you at all. The promises you make, you say you'll keep. You're determined to-in them- make me believe. But I'm scared of disappointment, So to believe, I refuse. I wish it were different, Unfortunately it's not. Will it ever be? That I do not know. I guess in time, The result result will eventually show.

A Nights Thoughts
I lay in the darkest of fields, staring into the nights stars Thinking of you. Of my trust that I put in you. You say that you will never hurt me, Nor break your promises like those before. How do I know that when I feel like I hardly know you at all. The promises you make, you say you'll keep. You're determined to-in them- make me believe. But I'm scared of disappointment, So to believe, I refuse. I wish it were different, Unfortunately it's not. Will it ever be? That I do not know. I guess in time, The result result will eventually show.
