A last ditch attempt
To the roar
Of a broken siren
The other night
I worked too fast
I gripped no message
I forgot every lesson
Viewing a selfish brat
I punched the mirror
To ten million pieces
Now,
I stand with no reflection
But words still in front of me
That appear
From an unseen Void,
A person unknown,
A being unheard,
And,
If I'm lucky,
To be read by,
Digital strangers
With false names
