It comes and then it goes
It’s fast, then it slows
It’s here today, and gone tomorrow
Its being red and turning yellow
We all need more to keep on being
I lose it all with what I am seeing
But here and there I get a glance
An act of kindness, there is a chance
That everyone is not so bad
That every soul is not that sad
Hope is there in random places
Hope is seen in random faces
Hope gets us through the hardest times
It makes the tallest mountain possible to climb
Where is hope when it’s needed most
Elusive, evading as if a ghost
Even when I see no hope in sight
I say i do for others light
What is hope, what does it mean
Is hope love, can hope be seen
Is it just a feeling when in despair?
Is it real, is it fair?
Probably a little bit of both.
To survive this life, we all need hope
