Outside the window, everything is dark
The sky so clear, I made a wish on a star
That on this brilliant night
Sailing through the sky's infinity
And in my heart's silence,
that tonight I am not alone
Because, you see, when I'm alone
I will go to someplace dark
and I will sit in silence;
a universe without a star
my lonliness reaching infinity
through an endless night
You tell me you're in my heart so at night,
I don't ever have to be alone
And you'll love me longer than infinity
I no longer have to fear the dark
it is diluted by your brightest star
as you gaze at me amazed in complete silence
It really isn't a bad thing; the silence,
it puts my heart to rest at night
knowing you're there, my guiding star
and with your love, I am never alone
You have saved me from the dark
and our happiness will beat infinity
But we will never truly understand infinity
Until that day comes that brings silence
and we are both left in the dark
But where we'll go, there will never be a night
A place where no one is alone
A place brighter than any star
We'll meet He who made every star
And then we'll know the true infinity
Where we'll never be apart, never alone
We'll join in the celebration, with no silence
We will never have to sleep, there is no night
And we will never remember the dark
Tonight I wished on that star, no words only silence
Until we know infinity, we dream through the long night
Never again are we alone, never again will I be afraid of the dark
