For decades we have watched The pest having feast Over people of nations At each others' throats While mankind's fate is at stake Due to the campaigns of war For the profit of the few Yet the masses have no clue As lives grow within this so-called civilized world Thirst for achievements of inhumane mold Our hearts gone cold And our souls grown old We live, as we die. We die, and then we die. Death is far, far past us And life, is nothing but a word Lies, are the food for our souls To rest at ease as they are heard We live, as we die. We die, and then we die.
